How Delectable Design by Nicole, got started.
Founded in 2020, Delectable Designs by Nicole started out as a place to share food blogs and inspiration from one Foodie to another. It then grew into intimate evenings in Chef’s Kitchen, Wine & Dine events, and Food Design consultation from Chef’s family kitchen.
In June of 2021 (after 18 years in education), Nicole decided to take a hiatus as a Special Education Coordinator to devote her full attention to her new business adventure.
The inspiration
Travel and food have inspired Nicole since a young age and, later, the desire for unique libations. Besides her family and close friends, nothing fills Chef’s heart like a unique Foodie experience, thus deciding to open Delectable Designs by Nicole, where she can fulfill both her passion and you Foodies simultaneously!
Nicole, the owner and a Foodie, enjoys educating and catering to others. She believes that food design is an art, one that’s bursting with sensational flavors, filling the hearts of all foodies alike. While paying attention to small details, Nicole’s plating is next level. Nicole takes pride in discovering unique flavors with the perfect cocktail pairings.

When she's not in the kitchen, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and crossing restaurants off her Foodie Bucket List! Many of Chef’s Foodies are genuinely astonished when she shares her story of educational background - and no professional culinary courses, but spending time educating herself in the culinary world should come as no surprise! Nicole thanks her parents for always instilling the importance of working hard and for supporting and pushing her to do what truly makes her happy! Nicole's pride-and-joy, her son Declan (DD's logo inspiration), is a constant reminder that anything is possible!
Nicole is the owner, chef, and designer of Delectable Designs by Nicole, but she understands the importance of a team. She could not run DD without the family of volunteers behind her!

From the moment you walk in through the door, you are welcomed into an atmosphere with warm colors, cozy seating, and subtle aromas from the kitchen. The menu features locally sourced and foraged ingredients crafted into flavorful designs that will tantalize any palate.
You sit with others at the table around the stove as the food is prepped and cooked in front of you, providing you with an immersive experience. While sitting with others, you have the pleasure of conversing with people you otherwise may have never crossed paths with.
Delectable Designs by Nicole is a one-of-a-kind culinary experience that offers flavorfully crafted dishes. Each time I go, I leave with a new favorite and a new friend.
The owner, Nicole, and her staff go above and beyond to provide guests with a top-notch experience. The hand-crafted cocktails, as well as the menu, will be full of surprises - from exotic fruits and edible flowers to homemade sauces, making it unlike any other restaurant around!
I have been celebrating every milestone at Delectable Designs and will continue to do so moving forward with time. I have met the most incredible people, had spectacular conversations, and always leave satisfied and excited to return!"
